The 5-storey School building is located within the township of Kandivali in Mumbai, India. It is designed to accommodate 2562 students with 56 classrooms. Student level range from nursery, kindergarten, primary to secondary.
Full range of supporting facilities including gymnasium, changing room, music room, dance room, fine arts room, assembly hall, library, canteen, labs, computer room, auditorium, and staff room are provided within the school building. An atrium is integrated at the centre of the building picking up the curvature of the external envelope giving an illusion of the dynamic spatial volume.
The design of the school allows maximum daylight and ventilation for all the classrooms. A linear interplay of louvre screens and canopies are designed to provide sun shading and rain protection. The building is predominantly expressed in white colour and louvre screen in silver to project a stately image.
